Jadon Sancho teams up with Nike to launch new south London pitch

Jadon Sancho has teamed up with Nike to help establish a new football pitch in south London in the hope of others.
Sancho, who raised at Kennington and was born in Camberwell, played a role to help enhance local facilities in east London.
Growing up in Kennington has left me the man I am today; I owe a lot to South London for nurturing how I perform, Sancho said. I expect the regional children feel empowered to share their stories through soccer and follow in my footsteps – that pitch being the ignition point.
As the home of the Lambeth Tigers, a football team for young people aged six to 18the pitch will offer the regional footballers of all SE11 access to the best facilities possible.
David Marriott and Jamahl Jarrett equally grew up on a nearby estate and the two coaches assisted with the founding of this club and explained the pitch assanctuary for kids.
Theres a real demand for safe places for all these children to play in, said Jarrett. A pitch such as this is like a sanctuary for kids, inviting them to get into soccer in a secure environment. The cool, bright design is also just like a magnet – its a place where folks will want to get out and play.
The Tigers will utilize the pitch to assist provide regular opportunities through training, workshops and coaching and enable football programming.
