Jadon Sancho teams up with Nike to launch new south London pitch

Jadon Sancho has teamed up with Nike to help launch a soccer pitch in south London in the hope of inspiring other people.
Sancho, who raised in Kennington and had been born in Camberwell, played a part in the initiative to help enhance local facilities in south east London, with the intent of giving more youngsters a chance.
Growing up in Kennington has made me the man I am now; I spend a great deal to South London for bettering the way I play, Sancho said. I am hoping that the regional children feel empowered to share their stories through soccer and follow in my footsteps – this pitch being the ignition point
As the home of the Lambeth Tigers, a soccer club for young people aged six to 18the pitch will provide the regional footballers of all SE11 access to the best facilities possible.
David Marriott and Jamahl Jarrett equally grew up on a nearby estate along with the two coaches assisted with the founding of this club and explained the pitch assanctuary for kids.
There is a real need for secure places for all these kids to play , said Jarrett. A pitch such as this is similar to a refuge for children, encouraging them to get into football in a secure environment. The trendy, bright layout is also just like a magnet – its a place where people may wish to get out and play.
The Tigers will use the pitch annually to assist empower soccer programming and supply opportunities to over 300 players in the community through workshops, coaching and training.
