Karolina Pliskova swept past Petra Martic in straight sets to win the WTA Zhengzhou Open at China.
Pliskova only wanted 77 minutes to beat on the 6-2 in a rain-interrupted closing for her fourth tournament victory of 2019.
The Czech participant, top seed at the event, just dropped one place per week on her way into the title.
Victory at Zhengzhou followed names for its 26-year-old in Rome Brisbane and also Eastbourne.
The world number two will close the gap on Australia’s Ashleigh Barty at the positions, however she has yet to secure a first Grand Slam title. Her best performance this year reached the semi-finals at the Australian Open in January.
