ONLY SPOOFING ( best cost 15-2) didn’t look his best when running at Chelmsford, however, has ever been rewarded for a few weeks. The five-year-old has been in cracking form this season racking up a hat-trick of successes in July. His latest win came at Ascot, in which he pulled away from Arecibo close. The pair finished a distance in front of others. Arecibo has gone on to complete a third at York.
That is a catchy race, I’m not that convinced with the requirements and trip regarding me. Therefore I’m going to have a punt on VICTORY COMMAND (best cost 15-2), a horse which has formerly enjoyed this excursion and also running at Beverley. The bit of cut in the floor should not be an issue. This season, when shooting on a good competition at the York and Goodwood the three year-old was not embarrassed.
COUNTRY (best cost 5-2) is your deserving favourite in the second race at Sandown, and has every chance to make it four in a row. The three year old beat on out Cardano last time, that has gone on to score. He’s gone up from the weights after that race, however, I think he’s been underestimated.
OUTBOX (best cost 6-4) should be far too good for this area and will enjoy moving back to 1m 6f. The Simon Crisford horse pushed at King’s Advice at Goodwood earlier all of the way in this month. He did not finish a lot behind the gifted Corelli last time out.
JUBILOSO (best price 10-11) was flying when finishing third at Goodwood. She had a difficulty during the race and struggled to get the bunch out, but when she did she had been very impressive. Sir Michael Stoute’s horse has finished behind Billesdon Brook and See Me on her two defeats. She will likely go odds-on off, and deserves to be favourite in the race.
POSITIVE (best price 1-1)??completed the nearest to the possible monster that is Pinatubo in Goodwood. Visinari contains eight lengths to locate on Favorable which I can’t see happening and was back in fourth in that race. I’ve been more impressed with the outings of the horse of Clive Cox in contrast to Al Suhail.
