Barcelona survive Leganes scare after VAR-awarded late winner

As a winner that was awarded after a VAR review was struck by Arturo Vidal, barcelona came from behind to snatch a 2-1 victory at Leganes.
The hosts had taken the lead to coach Javier Aguirres very first home match in charge thanks to a strike from Morocco forward Youssef En-Nesyri in the 12th minute.
Barca levelled at the 52nd minute when Luis Suarez glanced in the free-kick of Lionel Messi although leganes spurned two chances to expand their advantage.
Barca were unconvincing away from home but won the game because of a fortunate goal from Vidal in the 79th minute.
When he knocked in from close variety, the Chilean midfielder was in a clear position but a VAR review suppressed him on as the ball was bounced off Leganes Ruben Perez.
Barca briefly extend their lead even though second-placed Real Madrid can go flat when they host Real Sociedad.
Barca face rivals Atletico Madrid from home and will need to do so.
