France players should take complete charge of the team if theyre to have any prospect of winning the Rugby World Cup, Toulon president Mourad Boudjellal has stated.
The call comes amid press reports that are French that captain Guilhem Guirado has dropped out with Pool C leaders England ahead of Saturdays clash with coach Jacques Brunel.
You are there for your career and to your country, Boudjellal advised French media. Youre there for French rugby and to attempt to go as far as possible, to see if you can win this World Cup – however we will only get there if you take control.
Our coaches who are there, I invite you to treat yourself and abandon the players to tell their own stories as for years I have not known the game plan of the France group.
Something is definitely wrong, therefore its over to you guys (the gamers ). There are guys in this class who will be coaches in the future. Kick the coaches out, seize control, because we are ready to follow you.
Brunels side have beaten the USA Argentina and Tonga so far and Saturdays match against unbeaten England will determine who shirts the pool going into the quarter-finals.
