King Of Change Hurried out an authoritative winner of the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot.

Runner-up into the reopposing Magna Grecia if a 66-1 shot for the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket in early May, Richard Hannons cost had made only one competitive appearance since – creating an effective return from more than four months off the trail at a Listed event at Sandown.
Ridden confidently by Sean Levey, before quickening to grab the lead with over a furlong still to operate, the chance travelled strongly – and never looked in serious risk of being caught.
Raider The Revenant – bid for a seventh straight triumph – did his best to close the gap late , but King Of Change was finally on top and passed the place a length and a quarter to the great.
Safe Voyage conducted a race to be best of the rest in third, ahead of the front-running Veracious.
Magna Grecia and the favourite Benbatl both toiled in the testing conditions and finished well beaten.
